Currency, whose real name is Abuchi Nomeh Benjamin, is a Nigerian hip-hop and trap artist based in Onitsha, Anambra State, with roots in Ebonyi State.
His music draws on rejection, loneliness and the determination to keep moving when support is scarce. Through those experiences, he found lessons in patience, survival and self-belief.
His debut EP, BAD DAYS ARE GONE, reflects on the difficult days he survived and the person he is becoming.
